My Opinion:
I think that Charlie Bone and the Invisible Boy is definetly a good book to read. I like how every time you think you have the mystery figured out, there is another twist added. This is a book that always keeps you guessing about how the end will play out. I thought the ending was well put together in how every thing started to make since all at once and that it was back to normal after all the crazy things had taken place.

Setting:
Charlie Bone lives in a small house on Filbert Street. He goes to school at Bloor's academy for the more advanced kids. This is Charlie's third year attending this school.
Characters:
The main character is Charlie Bone. He has a friend named Benjamin that lives down the street. His best friends from Bloor's are Fidelio, who is in the music department with Charlie; Emma Tolly, who is in the art department; Lysander Sage, who is in the art department; and Tancred Torsson, who is in the art department. Charlie has three great-aunts named Lucretia, Eustacia, and Venetia, the Yewbeams. He lives with his grand mother, mom, and Uncle Paton. The head boy of Bloor's is Manfred, and Manfred does not like Charlie.
Conflict:
Charlie has discovered an invisible boy that is kept in Bloor's and has to find a way to make him revisible. Meanwhile, Uncle Paton has tried to stop the Yewbeam's from bringing someone dangerous to the town. When Paton returns, he has gray skin and ash all over him. Also, Billy Raven has been trying to be a friend and Charlie doesn't know whether or not to believe he is still spying for Manfred and Ezekiel.
The Plot:
Benjamin and his family leave to go to Hong Kong because Ben's parents are detectives and there is an urgent case. Therefore, Charlie must take care of his friends dog, Runner Bean, while tey are away which is a hassle since Grandma Bone hates all animals. The three wicked Yewbeams bring a new student to meet Charlie. Her name is Belle and she is the most beautiful girl Charlie has ever seen. What he doesn't know yet is that Belle is really Yolonda Yewbeam, a 100 year old woman who is a shape-shifter, trying to find the invisible boy before Charlie and Mr. Boldova can make him reappear.
